When misfits Beavis and Butt-head were first introduced to the world – first via Frog Baseball as part of the “Extra Sick and Twisted” compilation, later by the show’s premier on “Liquid Television” and then the first bits of the standalone series – critics did NOT know what to make of them. Some got it right; some were way, way off. With 30-plus years of retrospect, we take a look at those early critiques, giving praise to those who could see the good things coming and giving hell to those who couldn’t.
